100% Real Genuine Sheepskin – the inner and outer are one piece; they are not laminated. The outer has a Nappalan finish applied to it.
As these are genuine sheepskin, they vary in structure and hue - this is deemed as a character and not a flaw.

Very Well Made.. but a little on the snug side
This was a Christmas present for my husband. His head is a little on the small side so I was concerned that the medium size may be a little too big - quite the opposite was the case however.. the hat is pretty snug on his head. As its leather we're assuming it will stretch a little with wear, so we're keeping it.
Aside from that it's very well made a feels and looks like great quality.. BUT if you feel your head is average sized, I'd suggest trying the Large
