How to measure your hat size

Please note this is a general guide as different head shapes may also affect your hat size and it can also depend on where the hat sits on your head and the style of the hat too.

If a hat is too small, it will sit too high up on your head so if you are in-between sizes, it's generally best to go up a size and add some hat padding. Some hats have a sweatband that you can place padding under to help it fit a bit tighter.

A quality, well finished hat that really looks the part. Great for 40's festivals and earlier years. Nicely finished and set up. Good to find a supplier whose sizes are accurate as well as I take smaller than a size seven. Great price, free delivery and a top quality hat - excellent all round.

it is a wonderful fit per your measurement, very similar to the real indiana jones hat for a superb price, maybe a little too much bend upwards and downwards in the brim but still it looks and feels great and I love it

Fantastic, fedora!!!

The hat is most excellent. The make and feel, in much like felt. It has a great lining inside, and is comfortable to wear. The hat is much darker in color than shown in the picture, and it has a high snap brim, but that will relax in time. In all, it is still a very nice hat. And for the price, it cannot be beaten. Cotswold was very nice to communicate with, and my new hat arrived very early. Less than 2 week delivery, from across the pond. I will definitely make Cotswold my go-to place for my hats!!!
