I placed my order for a "baker boy" style cap, and received a confirmation shortly after. My order arrived very quickly, was very well packaged in a secure box, the cap contained in a sealed bag with plenty of packaging. Wide Brim Water Resistant Hat (Blue, Green or Brown) Wax Rambler

Was looking for a hat to wear when it’s raining so came across the Rambler. Has been worn a few times now and kept my head and shoulders dry which is great. Size is a snug fit but ideal as it stays on in any wind. Will definitely purchase again and keep my eye for other hats to add to my collection.

Brown Pork Pie Hat Wool Felt

Amazing quality!

After making the mistake of buying a cheap Chinese hat I came looking for something better and wasn’t disappointed. This hat is just amazing, comfortable to wear, resilient, warm and very well made. I have to admit that I was a little reluctant to place an order after my experience with the Chinese supplier but I needn’t have worried. My dealings with Cotswold Country Hats was positive from start to finish, no problems at all. As for Cotswold Country Hat’s claim that the hat is crushable, I was sceptical at first and then my wife accidentally piled a load of cushions on top of my hat one night, I didn’t notice until the following morning. My hat simply sprang back into shape - unbelievable! I have no relationship with Cotswold Country Hats, other than being a very satisfied customer, I simply like to give positive feedback when it’s very much deserved.

Lovely, summer lightweight linen cap - well lined, great price. Proper job. 58cm a good fit for a 7 1/4 (not too tight while it doesn't blow off in an open car at 50 mph). Only other comment - not a bad thing - is that it does come off as just a trifle posh - maybe just needs to get some wear into it! Or perhaps it's simply too smart for a scruff!

Not exactly what I was expecting

Sizing is the main problem with this hat. I ordered 61cm which is my exact size and other hats I have bought in the past have mostly just fitted out of the box. This hat needs a lot of adjustment resulting in it not feeling like a natural fit. Probably won’t use it much as a result.

Mens Tan Sheepskin Gloves

Too small

I ordered a pair of gloves, size "large" from another supplier. They were a bit small, but as I hadn't fully understood the measuring instructions and they were not that expensive, I did not bother returning them. I decided to order a pair in size "extra large", but the original supplier had run out. I ordered a pair size "extra large" from Cotswold Country Hats, who I am pretty sure had the same measuring instructions, but when the "extra large" gloves arrived they were actually smaller than the "large" gloves from another supplier. I will probably never wear them. Other than that, they were fine.

Sizing can vary between different brands and manufacturers, which may explain the difference compared with the other pair you purchased. As these are genuine sheepskin gloves, the thickness of the natural wool lining can also vary slightly and may initially make them feel snugger. With wear, the wool will naturally flatten and mould to the hand, giving a little more room. However, if they are uncomfortably small, we certainly wouldn’t want you to be left with gloves you’re unable to wear. Please feel free to return them for a refund. Traditional Wheat Straw Boater Hat with Black Band

Traditional hat styles and amazing customer service

First off I’d like to mention how good the customer service is, really polite and friendly staff any time I’ve had to speak to someone. As for the boater that I ordered, I’m extremely happy. It’s very sturdy and of a traditional style, not like those fancy dress ones you seem to only be able to find now days. I have a great passion for the Victorian and Edwardian eras, so owning this boater is a great privilege. Highly recommend.

Straw Fedora Summer Hat with Wide Brim - Cream with Black Band

Excellent quality wide brimmed hat

It can be difficult to find wide brimmed straw hats but this hat was exactly what I wanted and of excellent quality and value. I haven't tried collapsing it down for travelling but it seems pretty robust and this is a very useful feature. My head at 60cm is halfway between two sizes so I opted for the 61cm. There is an adjustable elasticated band to make the fit a little better, although it will still blow off if particularly windy. That's partly because of the wider brim catching the wind but I am still very pleased with the purchase.

This is a lovely smart hat, and really helpful that it can be squished for travel! The only slight problem I had is the first hat I ordered was the wrong size, I had measured a previous one and thought the size on the website was correct, but I was two sizes out, so I would just be careful when looking at the sizes. By the time I realised I had the wrong size, the correct size was not available in the hat I needed. It was quite difficult to find something in the right size on the website, but I spoke to customer services who were very helpful and suggested an alternative. I needed the hat for my husband‘s birthday, and time was getting short. I spoke to a lovely customer service representative who was helping to ensure my order got to me in time, and eventually because their order was delayed, she asked the supplier to send it to me direct to make sure she hit my deadline. All in all really good service.

Brilliant Hat, excellent service!

I was between sizes so ordered the larger on recommendations of the website. Perfect fit, super quick delivery and a fab hat. Couldn't be happier, though may have to order another in the hickory. Kangaroo leather is as soft and supple as advertised and definitely lighter than my old drizabone even in the summer sun. My only tiny niggle is the lack of a proper strap similar to Tilley hats. Although it has yet to blow off in the wind so may not be needed. I did order the brown bronco strap but can't get a good fit with it on this hat. I think it needs the dedicated eyelets that the bronco has.

Great cowboy hat, good fit, even in a breeze. The brim is fixed and not shapeable so if that's important to you this isn't the hat for you, and it's not lined inside the headspace either. Other than those minor things, it's a good buy. I wore it to a Garth Brooks concert. Great style for that sort of thing.

It's referred to as 'wheat' - but I wasn't prepared for the plastic/shiny looking finish.

It fits well - thanks to the adjustable tie within. Overall a little heavy. There is a blemish on the brim - see photo which must have escaped Quality Control.

Unlike many other hats at this price point you actually get a stiff hat, and a good looking good quality one at that. Love that there are a few different colour options too. Couldn't be more happy with my purchase. It's not easy finding an actual Homburg hat at a good price. One thing to note is that since it is an off the shelf hat it won't fit perfectly. With a softer hat it can adapt better to your head. But that is to be expected. 5/5 Would buy again.

Harris Tweed Wool Bakerboy Cap

Harris Tweed Bakerboy cap better than promised

Bought two Harris Tweed Bakerboy caps from Cotswold Country after a totally sad experience getting roped in by Walter's Caps on Facebook .. Walter, also related to George and Harry, supposedly was a 35 or 40 year's long cap maker who is now ready to retire after spending all those many years making his caps one by one by hand .. and offered exceptional buys on the boxes of caps he had left in stock .. well, I bit and got two cheap Chinese knockoffs for my trouble .. I am probably the only customer of Walter's who beefed long, hard and loud enough to convince him to give me a 100% refund, lest I come find him and throttle him .. so I then had to start over again trying to find a real Bakerboy Harris Tweed hat someplace else and sought out 3 or 4 sites in the UK for the real deal, finally settling on Cotswold Country Bakerboys .. my fervent hope was that not only they would be Harris Tweed as advertised, but the caps would come thru looking as boffo as they do in the Cotswold pictures online .. I liked the Baklerboy slightly puffier top of the head look as opposed to the flat cap with its sleeker, more pointy headed atmosphere .. I ordered a couple of Bakerboys in the brown tweed and green tweed shown online in size M equal to 7 1/8 US size for 22.44" head circumference .. my actual head is 22.5" and I always seem to land between 7 1/8 and 7 1/4 US when I order a hat online and can go either way depending on the way the hat is cut .. the M's received from Cotswold fit purrfectly and the Harris Tweed Bakerboy is both expertly made and looks just like its picture online on the Cotswold site .. I can now wear my lederhosen with multi-colored knee stockings and new Bakerboy cap around here in Maine and confuse everyone as to where I might be from .. I actually am directly related father to son, father to son going back 12 generations to Thomas Sanford, who emigrated to America in 1630 from Much Hadham in England .. not sure if Grandfather Thomas would approve of my lederhosen, but I digress ..
