Great cowboy hat
Great cowboy hat, good fit, even in a breeze. The brim is fixed and not shapeable so if that's important to you this isn't the hat for you, and it's not lined inside the headspace either. Other than those minor things, it's a good buy. I wore it to a Garth Brooks concert. Great style for that sort of thing.

Straw Fedora Summer Packable Hat - Wheat
It's referred to as 'wheat' - but I wasn't prepared for the plastic/shiny looking finish.
It fits well - thanks to the adjustable tie within. Overall a little heavy. There is a blemish on the brim - see photo which must have escaped Quality Control.

As mentioned in the product information, the hat is in the colour "Wheat" and is made from paper straw (Toyo), which naturally has a different appearance and finish to natural straw. The blemish shown in your photo certainly isn't something we'd expect, and we apologise that this wasn't spotted before the hat was sent out to you. Unlike many other hats at this price point you actually get a stiff hat, and a good looking good quality one at that. Love that there are a few different colour options too. Couldn't be more happy with my purchase. It's not easy finding an actual Homburg hat at a good price. One thing to note is that since it is an off the shelf hat it won't fit perfectly. With a softer hat it can adapt better to your head. But that is to be expected. 5/5 Would buy again.

It was a little big for me, easily fixed with a couple of cork hat inserts in the band. Just had a basal cell carcinoma cut outif my neck, my surgeon said get a big hat and this is it! Chuffed.

Harris Tweed Wool Bakerboy Cap
Harris Tweed Bakerboy cap better than promised
Bought two Harris Tweed Bakerboy caps from Cotswold Country after a totally sad experience getting roped in by Walter's Caps on Facebook .. Walter, also related to George and Harry, supposedly was a 35 or 40 year's long cap maker who is now ready to retire after spending all those many years making his caps one by one by hand .. and offered exceptional buys on the boxes of caps he had left in stock .. well, I bit and got two cheap Chinese knockoffs for my trouble .. I am probably the only customer of Walter's who beefed long, hard and loud enough to convince him to give me a 100% refund, lest I come find him and throttle him .. so I then had to start over again trying to find a real Bakerboy Harris Tweed hat someplace else and sought out 3 or 4 sites in the UK for the real deal, finally settling on Cotswold Country Bakerboys .. my fervent hope was that not only they would be Harris Tweed as advertised, but the caps would come thru looking as boffo as they do in the Cotswold pictures online .. I liked the Baklerboy slightly puffier top of the head look as opposed to the flat cap with its sleeker, more pointy headed atmosphere .. I ordered a couple of Bakerboys in the brown tweed and green tweed shown online in size M equal to 7 1/8 US size for 22.44" head circumference .. my actual head is 22.5" and I always seem to land between 7 1/8 and 7 1/4 US when I order a hat online and can go either way depending on the way the hat is cut .. the M's received from Cotswold fit purrfectly and the Harris Tweed Bakerboy is both expertly made and looks just like its picture online on the Cotswold site .. I can now wear my lederhosen with multi-colored knee stockings and new Bakerboy cap around here in Maine and confuse everyone as to where I might be from .. I actually am directly related father to son, father to son going back 12 generations to Thomas Sanford, who emigrated to America in 1630 from Much Hadham in England .. not sure if Grandfather Thomas would approve of my lederhosen, but I digress ..

My 95 year old dad is a very small man with a small head but the small size cap was absolutely tiny - you need to check size indication - it is a beautifully made hat of extremely high quality but had to buy a large cap which in no way is right

This particular style is a traditional cowboy hat made from firmer felt, which is designed to hold its shape rather than mould closely to the head. That said, if you are between sizes, using hat sizing pads inside the sweatband can help achieve a more secure and comfortable fit. If you feel this style isn’t right for you, we also offer our Safari Cowboy Hat, which is made from softer wool felt and may be more suitable. This is a very well made hat, made with authentic hand woven Harris tweed from the Outer Hebrides. It looks good, fits well and keeps my head nice and warm in this current cold weather.
