My 95 year old dad is a very small man with a small head but the small size cap was absolutely tiny - you need to check size indication - it is a beautifully made hat of extremely high quality but had to buy a large cap which in no way is right

This particular style is a traditional cowboy hat made from firmer felt, which is designed to hold its shape rather than mould closely to the head. That said, if you are between sizes, using hat sizing pads inside the sweatband can help achieve a more secure and comfortable fit. If you feel this style isn’t right for you, we also offer our Safari Cowboy Hat, which is made from softer wool felt and may be more suitable. If you would like to return the hat, you can easily create a returns label using the link at the bottom of our website. Reply from CCH: Thank you for your feedback. This wool felt fedora is a traditional, sized hat and is not adjustable, which is standard for wool felt fedora hats. An internal adjuster isn’t suitable for the structure of wool felt hats (unlike softer cotton summer styles). The hat is available in S, M, L, or XL, and if you are between sizes we recommend using padding under the sweatband. We’re sorry this wasn’t what you expected, and we do of course accept returns if the hat isn’t suitable.

My girlfriend mentioned something about a cowboy hat and so I wanted to surprise her, almost as a joke. I didn't want a cheap party hat just something decent. Style and Comfort in a Hat
My order for the crushable navy fedora arrived very quickly and it was well packaged. Thanks to Cotswold’s detailed sizing instruction I found it to be a perfect fit. It is extremely comfortable and very stylish to my eye though I would hardly rate myself as a fashionista. It made its debut at a panto performance by my grand daughter and I was able to make a suitably striking and theatrical entry (Oh yes I did!) A valued addition to my haberdashery.

Wanted quality.
Bought dozens of flat caps over the last year or so but the quality was never there, found this and thought I’d give them a try. Yes a little pricey for a simple flat cap however you get what you pay for and the quality was there. No complaints at all, very well made great colour and good fit. Get compliments on it every time I wear it.

Whole ordering and delivery process was seamless and the hat arrived securely packaged. If you are looking for a hat, go to a hat shop, this one! Searched for ages for a decent rain hat that looks good, and is well made in a great colour , and this is it. For the quality, this hat is so reasonably priced. Bought as a gift and I am reallly looking forward to presesenting it to my friend on his birthday.

Floppy Brim
It took quite a long time to receive the hat after ordering it. When I did receive it, I was very disappointed. The brim droops quite a bit. I went away for the weekend with it, and despite constantly keeping it on a flat surface (apart from when it was on my head) by the end of the weekend it was starting to look more like a bucket hat than a Fedora.. Unfortunately, I never got round to asking for my money back, but they emailed me asking for a review. I won’t be wearing it again.
