Great product, great customer service...but watch out for DPD Postage if you're in a rush

I cannot fault the product or the customer service I received. 5 stars! However, if you're in a rush like I was, be aware that even paying the highest amount will not guarantee that it gets to you fast because DPD are so unbelievably rubbish. Customer services did all they could but DPD straight up lied to them just to get them off the phone. The company refunded my postage in full which shows they go above and beyond. x

Just what I wanted, delivery was quick and the hat was well packaged in a box. Had to get the next size up. Got some tape (for fitting horse riding hats) and with the tape in the hat fits perfectly. Would say though if you need to use tape then add it in small amounts so you get the best fit. We'll pleased and everyone comments how nice it looks.

Traditional Wheat Straw Boater Hat with Black Band

Horrible quality

This is a straw hat, not a boater in the sense of anything smart, the brim is not rigid and won’t hold its form, and the sides which ought to be vertical are quite sloped, much more so than the images would suggest. If you want a cheap boater - this is it, except the price is three times what it should be for what you get.

I bought this hat to replace a nylon sun hat I have had for a few years. This is a very comfortable cotton hat, well made and with a nice wide brim, and the chin strap is a handy addition. The hat offers extremely good value for money. Being described as a crushable hat I was surprised it arrived in a large cardboard box rather than a postal bag, but that's an example of Cotswold Country Hats' care and attention to detail. This was my second attempt to get a hat to fit my smallish head. It fits really well. Colour seems lighter than on the website - more cream than beige - but it’s fine. A bag to store the hat when rolled would have been helpful. Going to Greece in a few weeks and hope to make very good use of this hat.
