Very nice hat, but...
This is a good quality hat. The wool is solid and sturdy, and it is a quite rigidly structured hat with a firm snap-brim. It arrived quickly, and was very well-packaged - all good. My one criticism, however, is the 'PU leather' - ie plastic - 'sweatband' inside. I don't know why manufacturers use these, as they are always uncomfortable and actually encourage sweating as they are not breathable. This one also made the hat too small, even though its outer measurement exactly matched my other fedoras, which all fit properly. I've now removed said sweatband and replaced it with a comfy cotton one, and I now love the hat. I accept that the 'PU leather' sweatband was mentioned in the ad., nonetheless it's a shame that the trouble of changing it was necessary - and was only really possible through having had much previous experience of hats.
